Kids need to develop fundamental movement patterns and general body awareness early. These are focal points of our youth programming.
Our foundations were built on family meals nearly every night, manual labor, free play, multiple sports and movement. With the advent of technology, video games, TV, long hours sitting in classrooms, lack of free play, limited physical education and nearly non-existent manual labor, today’s youth face significant challenges to leading healthy and vital lives. Our industry, and its coaches, including our staff here at Teamworks, has become tasked with the heavy responsibility of trying to replace some of these foundations for our youth. Our mission is to provide our kids, parents, coaches and communities with tools and information to help them set these strong foundations for themselves.
