Prevention starts with habits. “Diets” are unnecessary where good eating habits are found.
The most important element in youth nutrition, is creating good habits early on. The home environment and parental examples carry as much, or more weight than any choice a young child can make regarding their food choices. A clear understanding of the benefits of good foods, having fun with it, the proper place for dessert and “tasty” foods are all important to shaping a good eater. The earlier the start at home, the better, but its never too late. Our staff will work to echo the importance of healthy eating in a way that engages and motivates your kids to consider packing some power on their plates.
