Far too often, people get breakfast all wrong (if they even decide to have it at all), reaching for calorie-dense/nutrient void foods like bagels, muffins, and cereals.  Making the wrong breakfast choices can be a big mistake, leaving you with a sabotaged diet and flat-lined energy levels.

Too many individuals neglect protein in their breakfasts. Here at Teamworks Fitness, we’d like to show you how to start your day off right and provide your body with the fuel it needs to excel. So if your breakfast is lacking, be sure to swap out your current routine and give one of these quick, protein-packed breakfast options a try.

Option #1: Protein Smoothie (290 kcal, 3g fat, 37g carbohydrate, 29g protein, 4g fiber)

  • 8 oz 1% milk
  • ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 scoop strawberry protein powder (Bio-Whey®)

Pour milk, fruit, and protein powder into blender and mix until completely blended.

Option #2 Oatmeal Done Right (405 kcal, 22g fat, 35g carbohydrate, 20g protein, 6g fiber)

  • ½ cup dry quick oats
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ scoop vanilla protein powder (Bio-Whey®)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts

Place oats and water into bowl and microwave for one minute. Stir in protein powder, cinnamon, and walnuts.

Option #3 Yogurt with a Protein Kick (419 kcal, 12g fat, 26g carbohydrate, 48g protein, 7g fiber)

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (Bio-Whey®)
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds

Mix protein powder and yogurt then stir in raspberries and almonds.
